Join Ithaka Hospitality Partners on their journey as we grow and seek talented individuals to join our team. We are looking for a Restaurant General Manager to join our leadership team in Auburn, AL. The Restaurant General Manager directs and organizes the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure world class service, food & beverage offerings and to maximize profits and guest satisfaction.
The Restaurant General Manager will oversee Ariccia Cucina Italiana, Piccolo 241 Jazz Lounge and HC Valentine Coffee Company. This position will primarily be overseeing lunch and dinner with a heavy emphasis on dinner service. Our ideal candidate for this position will be active on the floor during all meal periods engaging with both guests and our team members on a nightly basis.
The Restaurant General Manager will also engage with students in The Hospitality Management program through practicum rotations in the restaurant and the bar as well as other educational opportunities to include Guest lecturing on campus.
In addition to responsibilities at Ariccia Cucina Italiana this position will also assist new hotels and restaurant openings as Ithaka Hospitality Partners continues its' journey.
Responsibilities

- Supervise & manages team members of all day to day operations. Has the ability to fully understand all positions well enough to perform all duties in team members absence across all outlets
- Upholds Ithaka Hospitality Partners standards of excellence throughout all guests interactions.
- Ensure staffing, operational, guest and financial needs are met on a daily basis.
- Works closely with the Restaurant Leadership team to train, develop, mentor team members and ensuring restaurant team delivers gracious and thoughtful service.
- Work closely with the culinary team on menu updates and roll outs and communicates information in a timely matter to the team.
- Develops, implements and continuously monitors schedules for the operation to achieve a profitable result.
- Regularly reviews, evaluates and train on customer satisfaction of the restaurant to recommend new operating policies.
- Ensure restaurant is in compliance with all Ithaka, local and legal regulations and processes.
- Work closely with Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure that all promotions and collateral updates are done in a timely and relevant manner.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and the Executive Assistant Manager on monthly and annual forecast and budgets.
- Work closely with the team on continuous training through various training sessions.
- Working closely with Food & Beverage leaders on monthly reports and inventory.
Qualifications (The questions to ask)
- At least 3 years in a full-service restaurant management position
- Complete understanding of Forbes, AAA service standards and able to implement and execute them in a casual upscale environment.
- At least 1 year leading a wine-program or experience with The Court of Master Sommeliers or similar certification
