Position Summary:

Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of the lobby and public areas which includes the outside front entrance of the hotel, while projecting high standard of service and professional hospitality at all times

Essential Functions:

  • Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and/or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
  • Thoroughly dust all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms overhead, bending and stooping as needed.
  • Thoroughly clean and polish all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
  • Clean ashtrays and empty trash. Clean the inside and outside of the trash can.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the floors; including sweeping, mopping, buffing, polishing, etc.
  • Walk the parking lot picking up all trash.
  • Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to supervisors/management in a timely manner.
  • Turn in all lost and found items in accordance with lost and found procedures.
  • Vacuum all public areas
  • Monitor elevator cleanliness.
  • Vacuum all public areas.
  • Clean the fitness and business center. Clean the fitness room, equipment, mirrors, rug, and anything else that might need cleaning.
  • Clean restrooms in all areas of the hotel and vacuum the rug in front of the restrooms and the stairwells.


High School Diploma or GED preferred.


Previous experience preferred.
